Our Location: We are located 14 miles from Aspen and four miles from Basalt on HWY 82 across from the Conoco at the Old Snowmass stoplight.

The River Park: located on the banks of the Roaring Fork River

This magical outdoor setting is a guaranteed memory maker. Picnic tables surrounding a fire ring, large grills, and hammocks tucked beneath the pines, the River Park is the 

perfect Colorado setting for picnics, barbecues, or bonfires under the stars. 

The Hospitality Center: indoor venue overlooking the River Park

Seats up to 100 guests, has a full kitchen for caterers, a large monitor for meeting / media use, large patio with fire ring, and bar​.  


Staff: Our friendly and professional staff is happy to provide additional assistance for personal errands or extra hands for your event at $25 per hour, per person. Additional coordination conferences with our Staff Coordinator are billed at $45 per hour.  


Clean-up: The client is responsible for all clean up and is required to return the venues and site to the original condition in which they were received. PARTY PACKAGE: immediately following the event. EVENT PACKAGE: before 9 am the following day. Snowmass Cottages can organize cleaning services for $30 per hour per maid / $45 per hour for man power. This cost will be invoiced within 48 hours after the event and either charged to a credit card on file or deducted from the damage deposit. All trash must be removed from outside areas immediately after any event.


Parking & Transportation: We have parking for 150 + cars and convenient space for Shuttle Services. We are on the RAFTA bus route with buses running to and from Aspen and Basalt every 30 minutes. 


Site Fee Includes: Two large trash cans / one for recycling, one port-a-john, two parking signs, one dumpster pick up, and list of suggested caterers, vendors & activities


Additional Charges

  • 2 additional port-a-johns for groups over 125  

  • 2 Parking attendants are required for groups over 100 not using a shuttle service

  • Shuttle Service or Valet Parking is required for groups over 150

  • Electricity and path lighting to River Park.


Discounts: We offer Great Quiet Season and mid-week discounts for all events. Quiet Season: April & May including Easter / October – December 15 including Thanksgiving.


Host your large or small, day or evening event with us. Customized rates are based on date, number of guests, and length of event. Accommodations are not included with the Event Package; however, cabins many be rented at an additional fee.


Rent the whole place! This option is perfect for reunions, retreats, corporate retreats, and celebrations. The Classic Package includes exclusive use of our 5.9 acre riverfront property, our event center (1650 sq. ft), which overlooks the river, and all of our cabins for on-site guests. 3 night minimum/ 28 guest capacity


Rent the whole place and add an event. This option, designed for weddings, corporate events, and retreats, combines accommodations and events along with exclusive use of our 5.9 acre, riverfront property and event center. Two and three night options are offered.


Leave the day and the details to us! Each party, event, conference and wedding is unique and requires specific attention to detail. We offer this planning package to assist you in bringing your vision to life, while staying within your budget, with little stress. 


Our experienced Activities & Event Concierge can coordinate caterers to corsages, timelines to transport, additional guest activities, & day of assistance details for your peace of mind. Consultation, planning, & “day of” coordination services begin $600.
