Grab your bike or cross country skis cross the bridge and go for miles on the 25-mile-long Rio Grande Trail that runs from Aspen to Basalt. Hop the bus for a day of shopping or a night on the town. Walk across the road to the convenience store for a sandwich or tamale. Pick up a micro-brew or a bottle of wine at the Snowmass Creek Liquor Store and enjoy it in a hammock by the river or tucked in your cozy cabin.
